Chalet Life

Breakfastdining table

The day begins around our farmhouse table with a reviving cup of freshly brewed coffee or tea accompanied by juices, cereals, eggs, yoghurts, fruit, preserves and fresh bread from the bakery.

 

Your Day

Refreshed it's off to the slopes........Maybe join us for a days skiing / boarding or if you prefer to explore the area on your own, no problem. The chalet is only 300 metres from the village centre so you are free to come and go as you please.  We have a Land rover to transport you to the ski lifts if required.  Click for non skiing activities

When the sun goes down either head back to the chalet or sample a beer or two first.  From the Piano bar most guests ski back across the field to the chalet.  Freshly baked cakes and refreshments await you (no petit fours just well earned calories).  Unwind a little.  The sauna is warm and relaxing, the roll in the snow afterwards is invigorating, "apparently".
There is still time for a stroll around the village or maybe have a drink in front of the fire before we serve dinner.

Evening Meal

Alison prepares all the food and her menus are a blend of classic French and British cuisine.  We offer 4 courses including a cheeseboard, all accompanied by bottled wines direct from the vineyard.
For anyone with enough stamina the nightlife of Saint Martin awaits.
   

Chalet Alpage is NO SMOKING .  Our smoking room is outside but  has a great view of  the stars.

SLIPPERS. We take great care in trying to keep the chalet clean and for this reason we ask you not to wear your outdoor shoes in the house.  Please remember to bring your favourite slippers.
